The description indicated that it was a brass fitting. It was plastic, but after a week-long camping trip it held up great. We were impressed with the Hot Tap Shower, as wellZODI Outback Gear Hot Tap Travel Shower. We didn't expect water pressure such as we would get at home, but the water was quite warm and the constant supply given by the garden hose adapter was great. Saves on batteries!

The Zodi water heater (Single Bottle) is a waste of your money. Please read my review on that unit and you will see that this is money thrown away.
