One of my cats likes to get up on the counters and push things onto the floor. I had a set of glass salt and pepper shakers that was an easy target for him. Needless to say the pepper shaker got broken. I've been looking for a 'rangetop' set of shakers and this is it. He still pushes them off, but now they don't break.

These shakers work just fine. I use kosher salt and was hoping the holes would be large enough and they are.
They are light wt.,and the lids screw on tightly. Since they are not labled with S & P, I used stick on letters.

The screw-on caps are so loose that you can pull them off without unscrewing them...the only way these things can be used is if you tape the caps on so they won't fall off. Not worth the money, and not worth the expense of returning them.
