Nice knife--butApr 23, 2011
By Ozarker the case has not stayed put on my 4 way keeper on my life vest. Luckily I discovered the knife and holder had come off and we walked back and found the knife and case in shallow water. Thank goodness the knife handle was that nice bright orange !!
There were no instructions as to how the handle assembles so it may be that we have the clip on upside down. /we will check that out.
Bizarre Looking, but it cuts!Dec 14, 2011
By J. Reamer This knife may look bizarre, but it excels at cutting cordage! Bought it to put in my kayaking vest. It has not made it there yet, but is finding lots of work cutting para-cord and rope. Excellent blade for this! The handle and the finger hole provides TONS of control and allow the work to be real close to your hand which seems to increase the leverage.
River KnifeJun 17, 2011
By Ray J. Zielonka I own a drift boat and got this knife for one purpose, to cut a snagged anchor line. A drift boat is for river use, ie, moving water. Rivers are very unforgiving. If you anchor line gets snagged, and you need to cut the line super quick, this is the tool. Thankfully I haven't had to use it. It can corrode, mine has rust spots on it, a little extra care is needed. The curved blade will make short work of an anchor line. I tested mine out and it was a very fast cut. For what I want it for, it is perfect.
