Great device. Bought it for a daughter moving away for school. Compact design, very loud! Strobe could be a little larger but all in all a great little device.

I bought this for my then-girlfriend when she went away to college. The only story I heard of it was when she accidentally set it off in the dorm hall and students started to file out of the building because they thought it was a fire alarm. A great buy!

My daughter was held up. I am opposed to pepole carry guns. If for no other reason that rthings happen so fast you do not have time for a gun. She works for a law fim and goes into the court house. The security will not allow mace or anything.
This solved two probelms. Security allowed her to bring it in and the lite can be attached to purse and can pull off now.
The derrent is not as could as agunbut it will startle
