The Marines gave us SOG tools when we went to Afghanistan. I brought my Swiss tool. The SOG broke within a week, but my Swiss tool made it through two tours, and followed me into Iraq. I sent it back to Victornox earlier in 2010 to get the flathead repaired (broke while trying to use it to dislodge a bent M16 pin). The USPS lost it, a sad day.
I bought another one on Amazon - everyone at work loves it and wishes they would have bought it instead of their Gerber or Leatherman. Buy the original - the newer ones are not as durable. You will not think twice.
