This is an outstanding vest for trap and skeet! I probably have at least 1/2 dozen shooting vests. This is the best. It is light, comfortable, and allows for easy access to pockets. When shooting trap I have plenty of room for all 25 shot shells in one pocket, and can put all 25 used hulls in the other pocket. Padding on shoulder is ok...but it really depends on your shotgun, shoulder, etc. I don't use any additional padding. I got the vest on sale, so that was a real plus.
