Almost PerfectMar 28, 2005
By Alvin Liau This is one good looking knife, I really like the all stainless look. It cuts well and feels good in my hand. I like the smaller size because I don't really have a need for the 3" pocket knives. The `speed safe' opening mechanism is in one word - cool. In addition, it is made in the USA. I did dock a star off because of the belt clip which tapers in where it is attached - this just chews up the edge of my jeans where I keep the knife. Take a look at how Benchmade rounds the belt clip instead, it works.

GREAT VALUE!May 06, 2010
By Lazydude The Kershaw Chive is an excellent everyday pocket blade. The blade opens wickedly fast, with ZERO blade play. The lock up is dead solid, no up and down or side to side movement, via the frame lock design. This is a small knife, perfect for everyday carry, the speed assist deployment and "flipper" design makes this a one handed opening blade. I'd recommend this knife for anyone who would like to carry a small, one razor sharp blade for everyday cutting tasks.

great knife, great priceDec 31, 2009
By Shoot2Thrill I love these little knives more than any small knife that i have ever owned.Ex-wives love them too it seems!ha ha. Anyway, thank you amazon for getting the price back down so i can get another one. Some people don't like the clip, well it works fine in a pair of jeans with a small pocket'the trick is use your thumb nail to pull the clip out when hooking it into the small pocket, no problem. Great for cutting the seat belt for emergencies....been there done that! These knives are going for $49.99 to $59.99, witch is too friggin' high.Verry sharp.

Great small knifeMar 06, 2008

While smaller than I would like it is a nice knife.
Pros: Strong lock-up. SHARP! Nice fit in hand.
Cons: Really small. Only one way clip.
I would personally spend the money on a larger knife like the Leek.

AwesomeOct 31, 2007

I can't even remember what life was like before this knife.
I use it for everything (perhaps I shouldn't because this can dull the blade), and I haven't noticed that the blade has become any duller from when I bought it a year ago! It is so useful, and also small enough to be carried (legally).
I bought the version with a beautiful red and black handle. I could not be happier with it. The slope on the blade means that this baby can slide into anything, and the point is ridiculously sharp. It hasn't let me down yet!
If you're looking for a useful, small knife, you really can't go wrong here. The price is well worth it.
