I use these all the timeMay 22, 2011

Yep, they're expensive. But quite worth it.
I use these bowls all the time. I have an induction oven, which will cook anything in steel cookware, and these fit the bill. I cook soup in them on induction, but also use them for ice cream or cereal all the time.
Note -- If you cook milk in these, be sure to keep stirring. On the other hand, even burnt milk cleaned up readily from these. I've been using the 6 bowls I got constantly for 2 years, and they still look new.
They stack GREAT. If I ever needed more bowls, I'd get these.
I've accidently put them into the microwave a few times. I don't recommend this at all -- but nothing really bad happened. Nothing useful happened, either.
