5Excellent night sightsMar 09, 2011

I think out of all the other nights sights out there, these are the best. They are super tough and very bright. The all green ones are the brightest.....just so you know.

3Quality and Service are questionableApr 26, 2011
By Scott Ruple
I purchased my sights about 9 months ago for a Glock 19c. After only 6 weeks the front sight was hard to see in the daylight. I figured it had gotten dirty from the compensator port, but after multiple cleanings, it was still black. I took a closer look and the little white ring around the front sight was completely missing. Of course, that explained the problem. This is my personal carry weapon, so I was a little hesitant to send the top slide in to Trijicon for repair. I finally called Trijicon and arranged for the repair.

That was over 6 weeks ago and I am still waiting for my slide. I called again today and once again they tell me it should be done this week - they have told me that for the past three weeks. I like the sights and I though I would like Trijicon's warranty. However, early problem with the product quality combined with the long repair time has left me looking for another vendor next time around.

5Glock Night SightsNov 11, 2010
By Adam Konieska
Excellent product. Installs easily, just be careful and take your time to make sure its done right. Great to have for shooting in low light conditions. If you carry a handgun for work or otherwise, you need to have these.

5What little I know about night sightsJan 08, 2006
By James Chadwick
I have acquired a Glock within the last six months intending to use it for hiking hereabouts in southern Oregon. Mountain lions are sighted from time to time, and I'm concerned for the safety of myself and my hiking companions. I realized at some point that dusk is a time that cats come out to hunt, and realized that at dusk I couldn't see the sights on my pistol. I called a few of the references on a couple of the sites of manufacturers of night sights and got one call back: a man who trains highway patrolmen in New Mexico. He was candid with me, and told me that their only choice is Trijicon. He said that Trijicon glows brighter than the competition. And, he said that they go only with the green-green-green because it's simple, and in a clutch simpler is better. I listened to him, and sent my slide to Trijicon and had the all-green installed. That cost a bit more than the price listed here at Amazon, but it was a factory job. The sights do glow amazingly brightly in a dark place, and seem easy to dry fire with here in the house. I haven't shot the gun yet with these sights, and I don't yet know whether or not I'll need to adjust them. They seem to be quite sturdy in construction, and the sight picture is very easy to pick up under all the lighting conditions I've tried -- easier, I think, in daylight, for this tactical use, than the factory Glock. I'm glad I have them, since there seems to be no downside, and I am confident that I could quickly align them in dim light or darkness, and thus now have a gun that is very much more useful to me than it was out of the box new.

2Hard to see during dayAug 11, 2010
By Mudshark100 "Mudshark100"
After reading an abundance of great reviews for these Trijicon night sights, I bought a set for my Glock 19. I found that they work well at night; however, in daylight hours, I found them very difficult to use. After two weeks of trying to give them a fair shot (no pun intended), I switched back to the standard original glock sights. I find it much easier to line up the standard Glock sights. Why did I have problems when so many give the Trijicon sights such rave reviews? Not sure but here are a couple of thoughts:

(1) I am in my 50s and vision is not quite what it once was. With the Glock sights,I find it easier to line up the dot on the front sight with the center of the U-shaped white line on the rear site. Lining up the three small white circles on the Trijicon sights was difficult for me to see.

(2) My Trijicon sights had a small white circle with a green center on the front and two similar circles/centers on the rear. During day and night, I had to pay more attention to make sure that the circle/green dot on the front was the one in the middle. Again this could be attributed to aging eyes. If I were to try Trijicon again, I would get different colors for the front and rear sights. That would make sight alignment much easier at night; however, it would not help me in the daylight.

Based on reviews I have read, my experience with Trijicon sights is clearly not typical. I would highly recommend that you go to your local gun shop and try out a pistol with the Trijicons. Aim the pistol at both dark areas and bright areas such as windows. I found that I had the most difficulty seeing the sights when standing in darker areas and aiming towards bright windows, lamps, or lights.
