"Somewhere, Racin' or Playin' Music"
I got this holster for my new streamlight stinger led, to keep it safe on my belt, and to cover it when not in use. It works well in that respect. The top of the holster rides high, but that is a minor thing.
It will take a couple of days for the snap to wear in, mine wouldn't button at all for about 2-3 days. It would un button itself, but after a couple of weeks, it works just fine.
I thought the value was a bit low for $17. But you may not.

I HAVE A DS C4 LED STINGER. THE HOLDER IS TO BIG FOR THE FLASHLIGHT,GOES THROUGH THE HOLDER AFTER A WHILE OF WALKING.IF YOU HAVE A STREAMLIGHT WITH A BIG HEAD,THEN THIS WOULD BE OK.

This is my third holster for a Streamlight Stinger. The first one was a Bianchi leather that was fully open and one I got free with the Stinger. I didn't know any better and used it on duty and got it scratched up on the battery cap and the headlight cap. Next, I got a fully covered one that fit the original. That one protected the Stinger well and kept it looking like new. The only minor complaint I had for that holster was that it was a bit snug, so it took a few extra seconds to pull the Stinger out. I was looking for a full cover holster for my new Streamlight LED model (longer than the original) but could not find one, so I settled for this one. The good thing was that it was a Streamlight (not an imitation), but it has a hole in the bottom. That means my cap will get scratched up. The holster takes a bit of time to wear in for the top and snap, but it seems sturdy and is easy to pull the light out.

I bought this holster to replace the Streamlight ring holder. I carry a Stinger DS LED when working the door at my bar. The ring holder would allow the light to come out easily when breaking up a fight or really just running. This holster hold my light exactly where I want it and has never come undone on me. The bar often gets PACKED, think front row at a concert, with kids mashed right in to each other. Even when squeezing through the crowd the snap stays fastened. This is because it is designed to only work one way. The snap must be snapped from the top down, and opened from the bottom up. I read some reviews that said the snap was difficult to "break in" and believe this was because the users did not realize the design of the snap. Part of the snap is rolled in to really lock it in to place. So you have to snap it the right way.

I couldn't open the holster. It was too tight. I pulled on it really hard and i ended up popping the button out of the fabric so it's definitely not going to be able to close. The good thing i can say is that my flashlight fit tightly in the holder and even when you held it upside down, it wouldn't fall out. so i think I'm just going to cut the flap off and have the holder open since i've seen holsters like that before, that said i guess it was a good buy, minus the fact that i couldn't open it. i think i read some other reviews saying that they couldn't close the holster or something to that effect.
