Excellent Book, Extraordinary Man... John M. BrowningJul 08, 2011

Well written. It it truely amazing what this man, from little means accomplished.
A good, fast read for those interested in firearms, history, or extraordinary inventors / engineers.
I picked up this book once I learned just how much he had influenced modern firearms. After reading the book, I am more than an admirer. John M. Browning was, in a word, Amazing!
The storyline portion of the book is a good read, taking the reader through his father, a good gunsmith and gun inventor himself, up through the end of John M. Browning's life.
The portion of the book cataloging many of his inventions does a good joy of describing each one, briefly with comment on each firearm.
Well worth the time to read this book!
