Walker has a great productJan 11, 2010
By J. Daniel The muffs worked great for hunting. Be aware that Walker makes muffs with different features. Some muffs have two microphones, one on each ear and the unit uses AAA batteries. The quad muffs have two microphones on each ear and they use N batteries which are a little more expensive and harder to find in the store. Then you have analogue vs. digital. For hearing protection while hunting I do not think you can go wrong with any of the above. I do think camo is better for hunting but not sure it is worth the difference in cost.
I like em!Jan 26, 2012

They do have "white noise", kind of a static humming all the time, but I've noticed that after you wear them for a few minutes you stop noticing it. It's amazing what you can hear with these things on! I've always been a tree stand hunter (and still prefer that), but I'm not the least bit hesitant to ground hunt and "stalk" now. When you have these on, and stalking prey, you think your making way to much noise until you take them off, when in reality I'm proud of how quiet I am in the woods with these things on. They make you take your time and be quieter.
Great sound, poor durability.Dec 19, 2011
By Graham Lloyd I gave this product a 3 out of 5 stars b/c of the following reasons:
Provides you with great hearing when hunting. I was very surprised on the sounds I was able to hear when wearing these. Great for clay shooting! Also keeps ears warm when using in the woods.
Much like some of the other reviews I read, the head strap broke after the 3rd use. I plan on contacting Amazon to get it replaced
