I bought this to use on the Appalachian Trail trips I took last summer, it worked perfectly. I did add a couple of quick disconnects to make it easier to fill straight to my camel back. I would recommend this product to anyone....

I picked this up for my non-Camelbak hydration pouch after seeing my buddies use them on a trip through the Dolly Sods Wilderness this summer. Whenever we stopped to refill our water supply, I had to un-compress my pack, unload the top half of my gear, then have a friend hold the pouch so I could use two hands to pump. Then everything has to be packed back in, re-compressed, then readjusted.
With this adapter, simply disconnect the quick-connect, reconnect the filter, and start pumping. No need to even take the pack off. Time saver to be sure.
I was concerned that the adapter would be loose because my hose is 3/8" rather than the 1/4" for which it is recommended. Installation was easy and took less than five minutes and no leaks yet.
This is must have.

I got this product and had it spliced into my CamelBak Hellion in about 10 min's. I had to reverse my tube because it has insulation for the cold on it, which came all the way to the mouthpiece. On the other end there was about 4 inches of exposed tubing, which was perfect to splice the adapter into. I haven't had the chance to use it with my Katadyn Pocket yet, but I'm pretty positive it will work great!!

I bought two of these kits one for my girlfriend camel back and one for mine. When hiking or backpacking you can stop at any water source connect you Katadyn filter in seconds and fill your water bladder with out even opening your pack! I set mine up a little different that what the directions suggest but that works for me. Would work with any similar water bladder filter as long as the hoses are the same size.

It's just what i needed to hook my Katadyn filter up to my hydration bladder for quick and easy fill ups at a stream. It comes in 3 pieces, two are quick release that go inline on your hydration bladder, and the other will hook up to your filter output hose (which you then can hook up to the quick release when refilling the bladder easily without removing). I've been using these for probably 5 years now, just picked up another set for another hydration bladder.
