 Amazing stockMay 22, 2012

The thing i have a problem with amazon is that they have so many products they don't know what they are selling sometimes. I saw this add and i was so syked, but then i read the description of the product and saw only fits Short action rifles. But the title says Long Action (LA), anyway i didn't take the risk with amazon although i normally would have, and paid almost double for the probably same product on midway use, only for sure it would fit my .338 and not something like a .243 like what that (SA) version is.
Regardless, the product described for a Long Action with a normal barrel fits me .338 like a tight perfectly molded glove and worth whatever price you end up paying, its a bit heavy unfortunatly but the grip is solid and the looks are sexy. much recommended.

Hogue stocks are excellent! They come with either pillar bedding or full aluminum bedding, giving the stock additional rigidity and they automatically free float the barrel. I searched all the gun parts and accesory sites and Amazon had the best price and fastest service. They don't gauge you with their shipping charges which are minimal. McMillan stocks are better but they cost three times as much.

Ordered this stock to replace the factory stock to get better accuracy. Barrel, action, and trigger assembly dropped in to stock with no problems. Total process took 15 min. and the gun looks great. The stock gives the rifle a better feel when in hand. Have not had the opportunity to shoot my rifle yet so I can't comment on accuracy but now that the barrel is free floating I would have to assume the accuracy will improve.
