Didn't Work Out Like I PlannedJan 30, 2011
By Raminator I purchased these grips because they looked good online. After installing on my stainless Beretta 92 FS, I really wasn't happy with how they looked. They do wrap around, but you really have to stretch them (seemed like I was going to break them) to get the screw holes to line up with the grip frame. The back strap is an option, I guess, but it looked unfinished and terrible without it, so I installed it too. It is just a friction fit on the rear, with the grip clamping down on it; didn't seem very durable that way. Additionally, the back strap didn't form to the back of the grip very well and left an air gap. Aside from the fact that these grips looked terrible in real life, the worst part was that the magazine release was covered by the grip and would not function at all. At first, I thought I might have installed the grips wrong, but considering I had to line up 4 holes perfectly (not an easy task with these grips), there was no way it could have been wrong. What I discovered was that a piece of the rubber material was left over from the manufacturing process and that was what impeded magazine release operation. I decided not to trim the material and instead returned them because I find it unacceptable for a company like Pachmayr to produce such garbage. I, instead, purchased a set of Beretta licensed Hogue wrap around grips and have been completely satisfied with the quality of workmanship, ease of installation, and how my gun handles.

By Gipper These grips require some stretching in order to get the screw holes to line up but fit perfectly after this is accomplished. In addition, they substantially increase the width of the Beretta grip and are recommended for shooters with larger hands. Otherwise, they have that great Pachmayr feel!
