5Awesome sticksNov 23, 2010
By Joseph M. Saviano
These sticks serve a great purpose for me when I hunt. They are very light weight and easy to set up and carry. I was able to steady my rifle almost as if I was shooting from a bench. Well made, light, and easy to carry.

5Good product for huntingSep 19, 2011
By JB "johncbruner"
I bought these as a replacement pair as the original sticks lasted 4 years of hard hunting. I've used the new set on a couple hunts and fully expect them to hold up as long as my original pair. Great product for steady longer distance shots as well as a tool for hiking through brush and branches.

4My comments re Safari Stix 2Jul 07, 2009
By Derek Swann
Recently I purchased Safari Stix 2 and in my opinion they are very well made, superbly finished and excellent value for money.
Unfortunately I ordered the wrong Stix and have received the 39" size
which I cannot use due to a physical problem that prvents me from shooting in the sitting or kneeling position, however all is not lost as I have since ordered two sets of the 72" Stix, one for me and one for my friend.
Congrats Stoney Point, you have supplied a great product.

2Not my styleDec 19, 2011
By Meir "Meir"
I recently bought these shooting stix and found that they just aren't my style. I usually shoot off of a pack or a bipod that is attached to my rifle, but I had to use the stix during an Antelope hunt due to high scrub. I guess it takes some practice to use these properly, which is something I didn't do. So take my review with that in mind, but if you, like me, are looking for something that is an easy substitute for a pack or a bipod, you may not be happy with using shooting stix.

5Very helpful in the fieldJun 29, 2011
By Josh T. Risler
Used these on a recent prairie dog hunt in South Dakota. They came in very handy. They fold up and self close. They also come with a carrying case. Tall enough to sit on the ground on a hunting chair/stool. They have metal points on the bottom of the legs to sink into the ground and help keep them in place.
