Word to the wise!Aug 05, 2008
By E. Tucker A word to the wise, be careful when you stuff this sack! The compression sack is actually comprised of two sections sewn together close to the top (near the pull string). The easiest way to load it up is to fold the top down to the point it where it is sewn together. If you don't do this you will find yourself pulling on the fabric to stuff more gear in and without folding it you risk tearing it at this seam. If you follow this simple suggestion you will get much more life from this compression sack. I learned this the hard way with a larger Slumberjack sack and it tore while trying to get a sleeping bag in. With that knowledge I executed precaution with these new sacks and have been able to get quite a bit of gear in each of the two I purchased.
I recommend this product, with precautions.

Great so farJun 04, 2008
By Some6uy008 I used this to compress my sleeping bag for Shasta. It does a great job and it help free up a bit more space for other things I need. Overall, does everything it was made to do for a great price.
Decent sack for the moneyFeb 13, 2009
By A. Livingstone I've been able to cram in a relatively bulky sleeping bag, and compress it enough to get into the sleeping bag section of my girlfriends 55L backpack. I doubt she would be able to do it on her own, as it is an extremely tight fit. The seams are somewhat strained when compressed, but it has held up so far. It would be a far better fit with a lightweight hiking sleeping bag, but she only goes backpacking with me maybe 5 times a year.
Great product supportAug 14, 2008
By W. Middleton I ordered this product because it was a good value. Expected a cheap product but it is a quality one. I did have one issue due to manufacturing defect and I called the company and they replaced it free of charge. Great support.

Stuff SackDec 03, 2009
By Janie This Stuff sack is really too small for our sleeping bag and it takes a man's strength to get it in. I could have used more guidance in order to choose the correct size of sack for my sleeping bags.
