Nearly Indestructable, Excellent FlashlightOct 02, 2005
By Stephen R. Finney I don't rate products that I don't believe in. I had a TL-2 flashlight until I lost it, and it is, hands down, the best flashlight I have owned. That goes for LED flashlights as well as incandescent ones as well. I can't begin to count the number of times I dropped my flashlight, business end down, onto concrete floors with no problem. The only difference is that the paint got worn off of the flashlight where it hit the floor. The ability to focus the beam is a definite plus as most LED flashlights provide more of a flood type illumination. This flashlight will give a good tight focus at more than 100 feet with only a small amount of light spilling out of the spot. Feeding this flashlight is not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I will say that for someone wanting a flashlight for extended use, there may be better ways to go, but if you use your flashlight for a minute or two at a time, this one is ideal. Batteries aren't cheap. CR-123s will cost you about 4.50 minimum . The only drawback to the flashlight, that I see, is that it is too easy to lose if you don't use the lanyard. Believe me when I tell you that someone finding this little gem will have a hard time giving it back! Yes it's that good of a flashlight. I'd give it 10 stars if it was possible.
