 Does the job without scratchingDec 07, 2010

Got this a few weeks ago. It works great on blued gun metal, and SS of course. Phosphor bronze doesn't scratch these metals, yet it loosens up the gunk in your chamber area, bolt faces, etc. I use it with both Hoppes #9 solvent and Break-Free. Two brushes in one make it work for just about anything except the barrel. Very happy with the purchase.

If you have firearms then a Bronze brush is a must have in addition to the usual cheap Nylon ones. These brushes are high quality and great at cleaning out the residue after a long session.

I use this for cleaning the action in my guns. They work fine but don't last very long, thus 4 out of 5 starts. But they are cheap enough that I will continue to buy one every year or so.
